Mindful birding is the practice of watching and making observations about birds as a means to becoming more grounded in the present moment. We will begin and end the walk by checking in with our emotions and physical sensations, and the bulk of the walk will be spent observing the birds. It is recommended to download iNaturalist or eBird to record observations at the end.
This walk will be led by Gabby Collins, a registered associate psychotherapist, certified California naturalist, and birder raised in Los Angeles.
